Here are some helpful tips to keep your Neopets' account safe from a hacker and/or password askers.
Tip #1
Never give out your password to anyone to do anything! Even if they promise that if you give them your password, they'll get you 50,000 NPs from games or something, just say no!
Tip #2
Don't even give anyone hints about your password. For example, say your password is "strawberrycat". And, someone asks you what your favorite fruit and pet is. Then, they can easily guess your password.
Tip #3
Don't let anyone "NeoSit" for your neopets while you're on vacation. Instead of giving someone your password so they can feed and play with your Neopets, send them to the NeoLodge.
Tip #4
Make your password difficult to guess. Don't make it "abc123". Make it personalized, like a good password for me could be "art11pwns4ever". (That's not mine, I'm just giving an example) A good password has number, or even symbols like the asterisk (*), or anything else you can think of.
Tip #5
If anyone actually does get into your account, be sure to make a number code. You'll need the number codes to withdraw NP's from the bank, buy stuff, etc. Make your number code hard. Don't make it "1234" or "5678".
