There are different ways to save your image on Paint. I will be saving and uploading this Neopets' image.

When you are saving an image, you will notice you can save it in different formats:

Now, I will save the Neopets image in each of these formats. The new images are shown below:

This image was saved in Monochrome Bitmap.
This image looks terrible. It's in black and white... Which isn't really what we wanted. Definitely not the best choice to save your images in.

This image was saved in 16 Color Bitmap.
Uhhh... This is better than the last one, but it still looks horrible. Saving in this format is also not a very good choice to save your images in.

This image was saved 256 Color Bitmap.
Now, this image looks a lot better than the last two. However, if you look closely, you can see some blurry parts, and the color looks smudged. Saving in this format is okay, but some of your graphics will look low-quality. Not the best saving format, but it's a format to consider to use.

This image was saved in 24-Bit Bitmap.
This is the format that Neopets' saves their images in. This image looks almost the same as the original Neopets' image. However, it looks a bit smudged and some color is distorted. This is a good saving format, but not the best.

This image was saved in .PNG format.
This is the best format to save in. It is the exactly the same as the original image. .PNG keeps the color nice, and doesn't distort any colors or add yucky effects to them. ^.^;; So, .PNG is the best format to save in. I highly recommend uploading all your images in this format.

I hope this guide helped you choose the best format to save your images in! If you have any questions, comments, corrections, or concerns, just e-mail me: aqua.neo.admin@gmail.com.
