Creating Safe Passwords

Owning a site means that you have to have a lot of passwords. One to edit your site, one for your
e-mail, one for CuteNews, and one for your chatbox. Therefore, having safe passwords will prevent your site
from getting hacked. This guide will assist you in creating a safe password.

Many people have the same passwords for their e-mail, site, and CuteNews. Either that, or the passwords
are too easy to guess. A password like "neopets" is NOT a safe password. Same thing goes if you choose
your username, first name, middle name, or last name. First things first. Your password should be 5 to 25 letters in length. The more letters, the
more difficult it will be. Also try to add in numbers, randomly throughout the password.

Now, choose a random word. The best thing to do is to look around you. If I look around and see my sister eating
carrots, I could use carrots in the password. Then, look around for something else. If I see a clock, I could also use
that in my password. Now that I have my two words, I need to think of at least 4 numbers. Let's day I think of 6, 4, 7, and
1, those numbers will be in my password.

Finally, it is time to create an unguessable password! I will change the spelling of carrots
to "karrotz". Misspelling words make your password all more difficult to guess.
Then, I will change clock to "klocc". See how different it looks now? So far, this is
my password "karrotzklocc". Now, add the numbers in randomly. This is my new password:
"kar4rot6zkl7oc1c". That looks like a jumbled mess of letters, but it is a very safe password.
Be sure not to forget your password. One way is to write your password on two pieces of paper. Put the password,
and what the password is for on it. Put one piece of paper in an area like your sock drawer, or something. Then, put the other piece
of paper somewhere else you can easily find such as under your computer speakers. That way, you're bound to remember where
at least one piece of paper is.

I hope this guide helped you create a secure password!
